Q: How many residents live at Pleasant View?
A: Pleasant View has a licensed intermediate and skilled bed capacity of 74. We offer both private and semi-private rooms. Families are encouraged to decorate the room in any way they like to truly make it personalized and comfortable.

Q: What forms of payment are accepted?
A: Pleasant View accepts many forms of payment including Medicaid, Medicare, private pay and insurance.

Q: What services are included in daily room rates?
A: Pleasant View's daily room rates include 24-hour nursing care along with dietary, laundry, housekeeping, maintenance, social services and recreational therapy programming.

Q: What additional services does Pleasant View provide?
A: Other services at Pleasant View include Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Cable Television, Beautician/Barber Services, Transportation to/from Medical Appointments, and In-room High-Speed Internet Access.

Q: Can you tell me more about Pleasant View's on-site physician services?
A: You bet! Pleasant View is one of the only nursing homes in the area to have on-site physician services. Our Medical Director and his affiliated staff are chronic care specialists and have office hours at the facility throughout the week. He even makes "house calls" right in resident rooms, and is available to consult with families as needed.

Q: Does Pleasant View accept Alzheimer's or Dementia Care patients?
A: Yes, Pleasant View provides specialized therapeutic programming, as well as massage and aromatherapy, for Alzheimer's and Dementia Care patients to help them live comfortably and with dignity. A monthly Alzheimer's Support Group is hosted by Pleasant View to assist families.

Q: Does Pleasant View provide respite services?
A: Yes, Pleasant View provides respite services for short-term stays to accommodate vacations or just to give caregivers a well-deserved break.

Q: Is transportation available for medical appointments?
A: Yes, Pleasant View offers transportation to/from medical appointments.

Q: Are pets welcome at Pleasant View?
A: Pleasant View has several live-in pets. A cat, a bunny, an aviary and an aquarium. Residents may choose to have a parakeet in their room.

Q: Does Pleasant View have an M.S. Program?
A: Yes, Pleasant View's M.S. Program is dedicated to serving the specialized needs of individuals with Multiple Sclerosis. Pleasant View is also the host site for the community M.S. Support Group.
