Q: How many residents live at Big Meadows?
A: Big Meadows has a licensed intermediate of 98. We offer private rooms. Families are encouraged to decorate the room in any way they like to truly make it personalized and comfortable.

Q: What forms of payment are accepted?
A: Big Meadows accepts many forms of payment including Medicaid, private pay and insurance.

Q: What services are included in daily room rates?
A: Big Meadows's daily room rates include 24-hour nursing care along with dietary, laundry, housekeeping, maintenance, social services and recreational therapy programming.

Q: What additional services does Big Meadows provide?
A: Other services at Big Meadows include Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Cable Television, Beautician/Barber Services, and Transportation to/from Medical Appointment.

Q: Can you tell me more about Big Meadows' on-site physician services?
A: You bet! Big Meadows is one of the only nursing homes in the area to have on-site physician services. Our Medical Director and his affiliated staff are chronic care specialists and have office hours at the facility throughout the week. He even makes "house calls" right in resident rooms, and is available to consult with families as needed.

Q: Does Big Meadows accept Alzheimer's or Dementia Care patients?
A: Yes, Big Meadows provides specialized therapeutic programming, as well as massage and aromatherapy, for Alzheimer's and Dementia Care patients to help them live comfortably and with dignity. A monthly Alzheimer's Support Group is hosted by Big Meadows to assist families.

Q: Does Big Meadows provide respite services?
A: Yes, Big Meadows provides respite services for short-term stays to accommodate vacations or just to give caregivers a well-deserved break.

A: Yes, Big Meadows offers transportation to/from medical appointments.
